WW1 Nieuport type11
for FS2004

Thank you for downloading this model produced with FS Design Studio

Version 1.0 January 2009.
***************************

Nieuport 11's were first used in 1915. Their biplane design allowed them to easily outmaneuver their German Fokker Eindekker ("monoplane")
counterparts thanks to the use of ailerons and not wing warping action. Armed with a single 7.7mm Lewis machine gun mounted to the top wing assembly.
The aircraft was primed to make aces of her pilots - at least until German aircraft design caught up with the 11 models.
If the Nieuport 11 had any drawbacks, it was the limited armament of one machine gun and the propensity of the wing assembly
to buckle violently in flight - the latter sometimes breaking apart outright due to its inherent fragility, earning the aircraft the nickname of "Baby".

An experienced pilot and dogfighter could overcome these drawbacks and eventually make a name for himself.

This is only my second model for fs9 and is presented in French colours, but has a fictitious identification number and emblem ( I like cats, sorry )
I have also attempted to animate the rotary engine.

Please forgive me for any errors in the flight characteristics, the aircraft is linked to the Curtiss Jenny for panel.
